Join Aussie JetSetter for his first ever flight review of the Singapore Airlines owned budget subsidiary Scoot on a recent flight between Perth and Singapore on their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Topping off this momentous first occasion I decide to fly in the airline’s (relatively) premium cabin class called Scoot Plus (formerly Scoot Biz) which draws comparisons to the airline’s own version of a budget business class or perhaps more accurately budget premium economy.
With significantly more spacious seating, many complementary (although non flashy inclusions) and a few other perks thrown in along the way Scoot Plus bills it self as providing a far superior experience to its usual bare bones economy class experience at a fraction of the cost of business class fare on a full service airline if one is happy to forgo much of the traditional more lavish business class perks. In this ultimate review of Scoot Plus I put the full experience to the test and reflect on whether it is worth the extra money in terms of the inflight experience, seating, catering and other included perks and how this product fares compares to what similar money can buy on a full service carrier such as Singapore airlines in economy class.
As added bonus I also check out the Aspire Lounge in Perth prior to the flight and do a brief review of the highly publicised venue!
