Join AussieJetSetter for another one of our flight reviews as this time we check out Air Asia X on a medium – hual 5 hour Airbus A330-300 flight between Taipei in Taiwan to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Air Asia X is the long-haul subsidiary of the hugely successful and popular Air Asia brand which although first started in Malaysia has rapidly grown since its founding in 1993 to numerous local subsidiary airlines across Asia.
In this review I seek to put Air Asia X to the test to see whether the hype lives up to expectation about Air Asia X being rated one of the world’s best long haul low cost airlines. I will assess everything from the ground handling experience, to the aircraft and seat condition, on board food and beverage offerings and of course value for money and ultimately wherever its worth your time and money flying Air Asia X in 2023! As an added bonus before leaving Taipei i will also check out one of the several Plaza Premium Lounges on offer at Tayouan Airport offering my take on this particular lounge!
